What I collect, and what I do not
There is no account to create, no newsletter to join, and no advertising on this site. I do not collect your name, phone number, or company details, and I do not run third-party tracking or advertising scripts.
The Digital Twin conversations
When you chat with the Digital Twin, your messages are sent to the service that generates the reply. Nothing is stored while you chat. There is no account and no signup, so nothing is linked to your identity.
If you press Save, two things happen. A PDF of the conversation is created on your own device and downloaded to it, so you keep your own copy. And a copy of the conversation is stored on this site, so that HK Borah can read it personally and learn what owners are actually asking.
No personal data is captured with it. No contact details, no IP address, nothing for marketing, and it is never sold or shared with anyone else. Your conversation is not used to train any public model.
If you would rather it were not kept, write to email@hkborah.com and it is deleted, no questions asked. The same applies to any conversation, whether you saved it or not.
The one thing stored in your browser
Your motion preference (whether animations play) is remembered in your own browser so the site does not ask you again. It never leaves your device.
Links to other websites
This site links to retailers such as Notion Press, Amazon and Flipkart, and to my other sites, thepico.in and picoeventurelabs.com. Once you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply. I have no control over, and no access to, what they collect.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Because this site is built not to collect personal data in the first place, there is usually nothing to erase.
If you believe I hold something of yours, write to me and I will tell you what exists and delete it on request.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and professionals. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. I will not quietly change how your information is handled.
